I work for a music management company who are currently increasing talent acquisition. This means we're looking for more talent managers to partner with.
The Opportunity :
• A great entry point into the music business sector.

• Talent fitting your preferred genre and area would be found for you.
• The company would deal with the finances of the musician, sorting out their accounting and payment (which the manager is normally responsible for).
• The company would deal with the negotiations on behalf of the musician (which the manager is normally responsible for).
The Person :
• You need to be able to demonstrate a passion for music and/or business.
• Ideally you'll be well connected in your region.
• No specific education or experience is required as we have openings from entry level to pro.
The Responsibilities :
• Dealing with the musician's marketing & image.
• Sorting out/booking/arranging tours and gigs. This includes contacting venues in order to get the musician gigs.
• Artist development.
• Promotion.
• Multimedia opportunities.
You'd earn a sliding scale percentage of the musician's earnings depending on your level of experience. This will range from the average of new and inexperienced managers (10%) to the average of experienced and well-known managers (25%). The company will take a percentage of the musician's earnings, not yours. This means that whatever you earn from the sliding scale will actually be yours.
