Wearers of sunglasses currently have a fantastic choice of commercially available filters to reduce glare and enhance vision. Polarising filters are a good example and one we endorse for use with Sunclipa eyewear. Progressive tint filters are another. There are also active filters such as photochromic and some others. Sunclipa can be used in conjunction with such filters. For driving use the polarising filters would come high on our performance list. Many heavily tinted filters would not be recommended because although they attenuate bright sunlight they also tend to dim the view ahead and dim the view of the internal display. Since Sunclipa works as a mini-car sunvisor it blocks light 100% from unwanted upward directions yet allows a virtually undimmed view of the road ahead and the vehicle display. I am fairly sure that there aren’t many competing eyewear systems can do this.
For sports such as tennis where a clear view of the ball is needed when serving high into the sun its unique geometry works just as well .
I am aiming to venture in sunnier climes outside the UK to develop the product sales in a market dominated by large entities. I am talking to early stage angel investors but If there are any potentially interested private equity (seed) investors please contact me for more details and possibly receive a Sunclipa sample for evaluation.
