Hi,
I'm looking for a business partner to work with me, selling and exhibiting art.
As an artist, I've sold a fair amount of work, but I can't manage the commercial pressures of promotion, publication and so on at the same time as producing the work and committing to my 9-5.
The enterprise would be a 50-50 split on everything. I'll handle the creative direction and you can handle the commercials. Exactly what that division of labour looks like in practice can be discussed later.
The sort of person this opportunity would suit would have a few hours a week to spare, be based in Liverpool (south or central ideally), have an interest in the arts, be fairly entrepreneurial, have good digital skills (web design, PS etc) and should ideally like the artwork (just Google my name).
I believe that this is an oportunity to build something really wonderful. I think that it is possible to make a success of the artwork and it could be profitable with the right person's input. Please be aware however that this could be unprofitable for some time as we establish ourselves, though I'll probably buy the beer if everything's moving in the right direction.
