Starting a Business whilst working
So you’ve thought of a great business idea that the world is waiting for. You want to launch your business whilst having the financial stability of full time employment. Some people are under the illusion that starting your business on the side won’t take as much effort as ‘it’s a side business’.
Running a side business has many of or the same amount of issues a full time business has.

Heres a few things to consider.
1. bye bye weekends
Running side businesses take up just as much time as full time ones. You may find yourself working evenings when home from work and weekends. Especially in the early stages of your startup, you will find that the majority of your time is focus on attracting new customers and getting your business off the ground. This can put strain on your family and social life. Bear this in mind.
2. double the trouble
With two very demanding roles, you can imagine the stress to come with them. Be prepared to come home from a stressful day at work to start another stressful session in your business on the side. Preparation is the best way to deal with this, be prepare to want to rip your hair out and have a way of dealing with the stress.
3. It wont happen overnight
One of the obvious disadvantages of starting up your business on the side is that its growth may not be as quick as a full time business. The main reason is that you wont have the full time hours to put into it. Be prepared for things to take a little longer than thought at first. The obvious advantage is that you will, however have a regular income flowing in. which will mean that your business has some financial foundations.
